I always thought that the Mondeo's new MTX-75 manual gearbox was designed to use automatic transmission fluid. However, my Haynes manual specifies "gear oil to Ford specification WSD-M2C200B" for the manual gearbox. I'll try to have a look in my car's handbook later today.

Seems louder on deceleration than acceleration. Noise stops when clutch depressed, coasting or driving on a constant throttle.

I am lacking a significant amount of power, and only have to go up a small hill and have to change down from 6th gear. I was taking my car to the garage for them to have a look at the lack of power, and on the way it went into limp mode with code 2263 (turbo boost problem).
Will try a oilchange. Thinking I will get 10 litres of oil, fill them all in bucket and use hoses from oilcooler to change oil. One hose into new oil and other into a emty bucket and start engine, That way all oil will get changed. Or just change 2x times from drainplug, that will renew about 75% of fluid.

It is advised to have an oil change at least annually or after 6000 miles whichever comes first, diesels dirty the oil quite quickly so this is recommended despite Ford advising 12500 mile service intervals.
